The Little Rock Zoo: Where learning lives

As an interactive classroom, the Little Rock Zoo gives visitors of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities the opportunity to play, learn, and experience wildlife.

Full of places that allow inclusive play, the Zoo is embarking on a project to grow its footprint with a new Education Research Station. This station will let all children interact and play together while learning about nature.

From a nature nook to a citizen science center, this Education Research Station will join the Arkansas Heritage Farm, the Laura P. Nichols Cheetah Outpost, and several other Zoo exhibits as interactive classrooms that delight, educate, and inspire.

We hope you will join us in funding Phase 1 of this project, which will have an impact on our future generations of budding scientists and conservationists.
